I'm a professor at the University of Bretagne Sud since Septembre 2003. My research activities take part in the SEASIDE group (VALORIA-IRISA laboratory). My main objectives are gesture analysis, modeling, and synthesis, inverse problems for sensorimotor control, motion indexing and retrieval in databases. Two main application domains are studied: sign language gestures using virtual characters, and musical gestures for controling audionumerical systems.
