MiddlewareIn the "Middleware" theme, research focuses on the development of software components that can be deployed on open and heterogeneous distributed systems, and that can adapt themselves to the --possibly varying-- characteristics presented by such systems. The objective is thus to propose methods for designing components that can perceive their runtime environment, and that can adapt themselves to this environment. This research is performed in the CASA group. |
