Welcome in STclass Documentation Project

The goal of this wiki is to diffuse, but also to write the documentation of the STclass Framework.

The wiki content is readable by all; the registered users can take part in the discussions.

Documents are written in two languages, English and French. For the new documents, the English language should be preferred, but, for historical reasons, certain documents are now only in French. Certain dynamic documents as the FAQ are maintained only in English. You can also find more conceptual information on research papers that are downloadable on Tigris or on our team site.

Call to Contributions
Any STclass user can contribute to this documentation: by giving ideas in discussion spaces, by correcting or improving the existing documents, by creating new documents.
The STclass development team is French-speaking; the active participation of native English-speaking contributors would be particularly appreciated to guarantee a good quality of the texts.
The author group members can contribute to the drafting of the articles (see how_to_contribute page).

WARNING: limitation of use

STclass tools are now written and compiled in Java-1.5 and use Java-1.5 facilities to manage profiling, but the parser does not manage yet new constructions of Java-1.5 such as GENERICS and annotations. The adaptation of the parser to this new structures is under development.
